Our Reflections program is underway! Reflections is an annual PTA sponsored art contest that encourages students to create original works of art based on a theme. This year the Reflections theme is “I am hopeful because…”
Students are encouraged to create and submit original works of art in one or all the available art categories. Students may enter in any of the seven categories: visual arts, photography, literature, film production, musical composition, dance choreography and special artists. 
Reflection entries can be submitted virtually AND by dropping off physical artwork now through November 17th in the box outside the front office. Please remember to email or drop off all entries by that date as late entries cannot be accepted. Please be sure to fill out the Student Entry Form to go with the submission (it will not be able to go on to judging without a student signature AND a parent signature). . 
UPDATE! Join the Matthew Thornton PTA for a Reflections Art Night on Tuesday, November 14th from 5pm-7pm in the art room! This night will allow students to create a visual arts piece for submission into the Reflections Art Contest. Art supplies and student entry forms will be provided for the students to create their unique work of art for the contest.
